the Cardinals have an impending issue involving Kevin Kolb. By 4 p.m. EDT today, they must decide whether to release him or pay him the $7 million he will be owed if he’s on the roster Saturday.

    They didn't invite Tebow?

the Titans got Hutchinson, reportedly a 3-year deal...he's expected to take over right guard from Jake Scott, who's a free agent the Titans haven't tried to keep.

i think they would trade tebow and wash their hands of him. the fans are stupid for him (as seen in our arguments here) and he is just a menace, a powerful force of terrible. most players with his skills dont get near enough to a team to hurt them.

    Cardinals are out

the Arizona Cardinals paid a $7 million option to Kevin Kolb, after Manning told them they were out of the running. "Acquiring Peyton Manning is no longer an option for us," Cardinals Coach Ken Whisenhunt said.

    49ers are in...

The San Francisco 49ers, who have publicly insisted that Alex Smith would remain their starting quarterback, emerged as a surprise contender for Manning after ESPN reported Friday that Coach Jim Harbaugh watched Manning throw on Tuesday at Duke University - where he has been working out in recent months - and that 49ers doctors gave Manning a physical later in the week.

The 49ers' follow-up examination of Manning, who is recovering from four surgical procedures on his neck that caused him to miss the 2011 season and affected his arm strength, suggests the 49ers are very interested.

What appeared to be the 49ers' lack of interest in Manning, until now, had been something of a puzzle.

on Monday, the 49ers signed wide receiver Randy Moss after he spent a year out of football, hoping he will be the dynamic wideout and deep threat he once was.
