    Not other preseason rankings... How his rankings compare with the post seasons rankings determine how credible he is.

    Perhaps he is a genius and everyone else is stupid. Would that mean he has no credibility? No. It's all about whether he is ultimately correct (or closest to being correct).

    The ranking is in the Phil Steele paper magazine. It ain't out on the web yet that I know of. The #11 ranking suggested by Apextiger is, I believe, the 2005 ranking.

    It's not a poll, but Phil Steele's ranking according to his system.
