Folks, lets enjoy the spring sports, like baseball, before we jump head first into football. After the debacle against Bama, I didn't think we would get this fired up so early about next season. Plus Les has yet to explain the performance of his team in that game. He won't explain what really happened even though I thought he owed the fans (who paid quite a price to attend the game and his salary) an explanation. Something better than we failed to execute (Dah!) and got beat. Hopefully all the problems with last years' team have left with Jefferson. Let's focus on pulling the baseball team through the regionals instead.

Football fans are gonna talk about football in a football thread. And enough with the "Les owes fans an explanation." BS. It's not coming--and for the 50th time, he probably doesn't know wth happened, and if he did, and explained it, the "fans" would still bitch about it.
Come on Stacey. He knows what happened. He's the head coach and should know what happened. If I'm paying you $4 million a year you better have your hands around what's going on on your team. That being said, I will agree it's time to move on, and if I'm in Alleva's shoes, I will get the explanantion I need. Going forward it shouldn't happen again. Not what I saw happen in Janauary if you know anything about football. Les still has a lot of talent which still should win many games. That should happen if we have better senior leadership on next years team.
Boxing ought to be a sport that fills the void between Baseball and football...along with another women's Olympic sport, beach volleyball. Title IX compliance being what it is. I'll hijack any thread in the name of women's beach volleyball any day and you'll thank me later.
