ULL LSU LBS Oregon St Miss Texass Col. of Charleston Baylor SC Winthrop FL ST FL CS Fullerton Arizona St Miss ST. Nebraska Don't be suprised by ULL winning the NO Regional. I get to see them several times a year and they are a very talented team with good pitching and defense. I would love to see them and LSU play again. That way when we kick their butts I could give all the ULL fans hell over here.
You guys aren't giving Ga Tech enough credit. They are a really good team this year. I saw them play several times, and they are a next to sure CWS team. I don't think the Cocks will be able to hang.
Tulane will win their regional barring a complete meltdown (which I would LOVE to see, by the way.) LSU SHOULD win theirs, also barring a complete meltdown. I know who Won't win though. Marist, nor Northwestern, will move on--our home crowd at the box will be HARD for either to overcome. In New Orleans, no knock on Southern, but you have three teams FAR more talented than Southern--please take that lightly, but it's true. Other than that I think it's a toss-up with SLIGHT advantage toward Toolame. Other than these two regionals, I could really care less. I have a feeling LSU is going to put up large numbers in this regional. It just seems historical. Remember Army last year... UNCW, I think it was Jackson State another year... I just don't think the players from opposing teams will be able to imagine the hype until they see it first hand, on the field... this is a perfect chance for LSU fans to show up in full force and yell, and scream, and make the Box what it used to be--what it SHOULD be! Too bad I have to work Friday and Sat, but I'll be out in full force Sunday!!! I'm so excited--it's that time of year when anything can happen..
why should anyone give them credit? they have never won it all. matter of fact, outside of the Miami has I'd guess no one in the ACC has ever won the CWS. til then, they're nothing more than FSU with a lot of reg. season wins and nothing to show for it. edit: since Miami just joined the ACC and their last NC was in '01 I guess that means the ACC has zero NC's if my presumption is correct.
