All of those were caught between the spawn in march and weekend before last up here in Shreveport. Small oxbow off the Red... when the shad are moving the sac-au-lait are laying in wait... makes jigging with panfish assassin jigs with #1 over sized sickel hooks very very easy... just gotta find some really nice docks or submerged timber out off the banks and out off points in deeper water when it gets colder.
Looks like ya'll had a fun time. I bet the dogs had a blast. A friend in my neighborhood is at 182 for the year in his back yard! I thought I was doing good at about 20.
bump. Anybody caught anything lately? I'm getting into festival season, so will be pretty busy on weekends. Starting to get an itch to catch some fish in saltwater though.
