Have you seen this before? Mark 5:11-13: "Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand and were choked in the sea." (Sorry Bud, I couldn't resist and thought you'd get a laugh...Jesus is the best pig hunter ever !! )
Yet none of those Jews and Arabs would eat the pork! Meanwhile the "unclean spirits" had a hell of a boucherie. I bet they were Prairie unclean spirits . . .
When we hunt them its just a stalk and kill deal. We keep the wind in our face and our eyes and ears open. Move slow when they're in sight. They can't see to well but their sense of smell is excellent. You can grunt at them and they will come check you out more times than not. A solid tip 22 round behind the ear will do fine and # 5 hevi shot in the ribs will kill at 35-40 yds. They'll run but not far. It's a rush. If you can shoot a bow then that's the best way. 10-40 yds through the lungs and your making bacon.
I have two friends with dogs. Yesterday, between them, they killed 15. One caught 8 and the other, 7.
