Talk about the perfect gameplan. I don't remember them missing a single tackle either.

Unbelievable effort. Unbelievable coaching and preparation by one Mr. Dave Wannstedt. I have used Dave as the butt of many a joke, but my apologies to you sir. I will never forget you.

This is a team that averaged well over 500 yards and well beyond 40 ppg.

The great Steve Slaton had 11 yards on 9 carries. Simply wow.

I loved Wannstedt the entire game roaming the sideline with and without those crutches. It was priceless.

I still can't get over this game.

This beats the hell out of the 03 season.

Not to mention he kept the foot on the pedal at the end and kept on blitzing even on the last 4th down play. Too many times coaches get scared at the end and are unwilling to do what was previously successful, like blitzing.

...and despite the horrendous officiating. Some terrible calls -- two phantom holding calls (one nullifying a TD, another a key first down), a non-call on a pretty obvious PI, and then the bogus excessive celebrating call. What was up with this? Were the officials under instructions from the Big (L)east to give the game to WVU?

Major props to Pitt for holding it together.

Believe me the sideline judge will be investigated for this game. He called both holding calls, and he waited until they scored the touchdown and the first down (in the 2nd instance) before he threw a very late flag. He was the same ref that didn't call an obvious holding penalty on the DB after the horrible holding call on Pitt.

This guy will never referee another game.

He nearly cost us a chance at the national championship.

You are the effing master of hyperbole. No freaking way the conference suspends him for doing as he's told.

Last I checked, Chaz Ramsey still holds his starting job.

The ref clearly was in a Donaghy situation...those calls were aggregious AND LATE (only after seeing that the play was a success.)

That Pitt team played their collective asses off, to use The Hat's words. Of course I can't forgive Wannstedt for his years in Miami and overuse of my man Ricky, but I don't detest him nearly as much tonight.

Top to bottom, your best post ever 157. Islstlt does love the hyperbole, even though I wish he was right.

Chaz shouldn't be allowed to walk, much less attend school.
