I've been an Eagles fan since day one. I've seen them perform live 5 times. I've watched just about everything ever filmed about them and read just about everything written about them. That doesn't change my opinion on Browne. He's an asterisk on the Eagles history & success.

Browne and Glenn Frey were friends and no doubt they influenced each others music to some degree but it's a stretch to say that Browne was responsible for the Eagles existence. That would be discounting Don Henley's huge influence on their musical direction

They were great all their own sure. I'm talking about when they lived in the apartment above Browne, before anyone knew who the f they were. It was Browne that helped them get their shit together.

Argumentative old fart. When are you going to realize you don't know everything .

Like Joe Walsh used to be in a band that opened for the eagles

I would go with Linda Ronstadt over Browne as far as helping Eagles become who they were.

I think Linda Ronstadt was very sexy,.. and I was a big fan of "Moonbeam" too.

Jerry Brown was at UofO to give a campaign rally speech. Earlier in the day I was walking across campus and there he was, he walked right passed me. A fan and kinda star struck, I followed, trailed him for a while.

I never saw it coming,.. someone grabbed my shoulders, pushed me backwards, and planted my ass deep into a hedge, and there I sat, stuck, with my feet above my head,.. by the time I extracted myself from the damn hedge they were long gone.

Apparently, the Secret Service doesn't like Presidential Candidates being shadowed.
