The movie was Southern Comfort. The moral of the movie as I remember was if you are going to shoot at a Cajun better use real bullets not blanks. A good movie and it did have Powers Booth in it along with Fred Ward and Keith Caradine. They shot some of the movie in the Basin. Loved the soundtrack by Ry Cooter.
A shot Deliverance with a splash of Southern Comfort will make a city boy think twice about going out into the sticks.
