I thought he said Okie, and I was stumped as well. At the time I thought I was simply unaware of a West Virginian' nickname.

 

Think about it, Les looked a little stunned when he went to greet WVU's head coach... he thought it would be Frank Beamer.

Which is why he called them the Hokies.

But really, he probably thinks WVU are the Hokies.

 

Okie was a reference to the style of defense WVU ran. C'mon guys.... you're better than that.
