    He wasn't supposed to be anywhere but IN his 'room'. He broke rules (as did others) and slipped out after bed check/curfew. To go out and party. A selfish thing to do. Way to put the team first and be a team leader. Even if 'the incident' had not occurred, it still doesn't negate the fact he was not where he was supposed to be/should have been.

    Everybody realizes this and it has been commented on ad nauseum. Breaking curfew usually gets a in-team punishment. This isn't about the curfew anymore.

    Yeah yeah I get that. So did a large percentage of the rest of the team. You gonna suspend them as well? We are beyond the JJ playing football part of this, it is now about a miscarraige of justice. The dude is getting railroaded on steaming pile of mish mash evidence.

    In that case he has a case against not only the BRPD but the accusers/witnesses as well. Go for it.

    From what I've been reading though, folks are acting like he wasn't even there in the first place and should be handed everything back on a platter.

    Maybe my reading comprehension is whacked this morning and I need more coffee.

    eta: I also remember a *lot* of comments from the same folks when the tables have been turned and the accused players have been on other teams in the SEC (sometimes other conferences)... and those comments were a LOT different.
