    LSU is a draw regardless...

Slowly more and more people have realized we need to play...

Of course we got the few rebels who will never switch their opinion and that is GREAT... I rather that than a flip-flopper

Y'all have to be joking right. Do you have any idea on the neighborhood the call LAKEVIEW. That is the place where the yacht club was BURNING. You dont think there were LSU season ticket holders there that left their tickets at home.

OR what about the ticket holders that live in the River Parishes where again I would put money on the fact that majority of season ticket holders live. To my knowledge they have yet to be let back into their homes.

There will be enough seats empty to make the place look like a Saints game.

Like i said earlier in this thread that life has to go on at some point.
I don't see the point in someone making a case for the game not to
    be played anytime soon.
Some people might not be there but the problem is there that this isn't
    a short term problem.
New Orleans won't be ready for months and people won't be around
until probably the end of football season at the earliest.

The problem is this is a long term issue especially when you look at how
short football season is, 4 months.
Is everyone going to be back in New Orleans by then, i doubt it.

It seems like LSU will have to accommodate some fans that might've lost there season tickets.

So instead of setting a good example and playing FOR the people of Louisiana, you propose that we give up and abandon Tiger Stadium and play elswhere????

I, personally, am not buying! If season ticket holders can't or don't have their actual ticket stubbs, I'm positive that there is a data base that can reproduce them.

Crip, you can stay inside and let the negativity impact your entire day from here on out, but I'm with the group that refuse to stay "down" and I welcome the uplifting that a "Saturday night in Death Valley" brings.

Right on! So are we supposed to stop ALL activity in the state of Louisiana till New Orleans is back up and running???? Yeah, don't spend ANY money to sustain or boost the economy (yes, football games do generate revenue for those that don't realize it).

So let's say Tiger Stadium is missing 5,000 people. That's about 5% of the stadium. Is it really worth not having home games to accomidate 5% as opposed to 95% just because they may feel sad about not being there? Even so, the economic impact of not having games at Tiger Stadium would be huge. That's why once it is feasable to have games on campus, they must go on.

With all due respect Sourdoughman and BostonBengal, and I mean that, I respect you both and your opinions...

You have no idea what things are like here in BR right now. At this moment in time, as a resident of LSU fan and a holder of a pair of Az. St. tickets that costed me 250 bucks, I can not see how a game can be held any time soon.

Time will tell of course and I certainly hope things improve around the city and allow for a game, but to simply say life must go on so there will be a game is a bit farfetched at this point.

EDIT: Here is the best way I can sum it up right now. The ENTIRE city is rush hour traffice ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT. There are helicoptors flying over my home every couple of minutes towards and from LSU. Most neighbors have five times the usual amount of cars in their driveways... The list can go on and on...
