USA Today: OU takes a few votes from Florida, South Carolina drops to 21; Bama to 24. AP Poll: USC loses 3 votes, LSU gains 3 votes - narrows the point gap from 28 to 21. OU jumps Florida into the 3 spot. South Carolina drops to 16; Bama to 22. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankingsindex
Hence...the polls are stupid. Last week they had Louisville ranked above KY..right after KY beat them. USC beats GA last week, loses to the #2 team in the country this week, and GA somehow overtakes them in the polls? :dis:
Sooners Leapfrog Gators for #3 in AP, LSU gains on USC http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/football/ncaa/09/23/bc.fbc.t25.collegefbpol.ap/index.html If we continue to dominate SEC games as USC continues a softer schedule we should gain weekly on USC. For me it does not matter, all that matters is being in New Orleans this coming January against whoever.
Re: Sooners Leapfrog Gators for #3 in AP, LSU gains on USC USCe dropping to 21 is way too far. It's not like those guys had a disappointing performance. They lost a game they were supposed to lose, but looked alright doing it. I really hate the polls. They're so poorly run that they shouldn't even be given any attention at all.
The harris poll is due out today. I am sorry I don't know what time, if that was your question. I'll research it and get back to you.
Thanks. Doesn't look like I can find a time either. Definitely today though. From the official website: > Link <
It's a "what have you done for me lately" league. Everyone remembers what you did last, the rest tends to fade.
