Believe me, I would like to do that to.... would love nothing more than a USC loss or two but I call it like it believe it is not how I wish it would be.
I too think that USC has a soft schedule. But after you put this way, if they win out they deserve a no. 2 ranking even though I hate to admit it.
USC is very good. I give props to the Lou and WV though, they are for real. Still, an SEC team with one loss deserves a shot.
Folks, quit worrying about USC. Trust me, they will lose and I think they will lose a few. I've seen them play a few times now and they're not that good. They are great though at pulling out the Ws. Hell, even Arizona was within a touchdown of them in the 4th quarter. Playing Cal, Oregon, Notre Dame and UCLA all in a row will be too much for them. Yes, I know they beat Nebraska, but Nebraska isn't really good from what I've seen. Nebraska has not beaten anyone that's good. And USC beat Arkansas in the first game of the year when McFadden was still hurt and only had 9 carries. Arkansas won't beat many teams when he only gets 9 carries. On top of that, they were playing some other QB in that game until late in the 4th (who contributed to the five turnovers). Now, they switched to the freshman QB and he's doing much better for their team. Also, when has Arkansas not totally sucked to start the first couple of games? They do the same thing every year. And yes, WV is good. I would hate to play them with the speed they have on offense. Just think, that QB was coming to LSU at one point.
i agree that usc will lose...maybe even twice...they should of lost last night...asu did a good job of getting back in that game.
