It's a joke by OM students......we figure that our players are going to be tense and nervous prior to the game. As they are warming up, they will see the stands filling up with lots of guys waving pom poms and acting silly. They will then laugh and loosen up some. Could backfire though....

The LSU home game.....at OM, our men are real men. We don't wave pom poms or kiss in the stands....(I just had to throw that in):hihi::hihi: We just yell "Hotty Toddy.":eek::redface::redface::redface: And besides, you know that we all have weak/limp wrists. And, honey, those heavy ole pom poms just make my wrists hurt sooo bad.:rolleye33: nope, not my thing

Well, I observed those in my section and have decided a few things.

There were not many pom-poms, most seem to have declined them. Those that had them didn't shake them much and seemed to be just keeping them for souvenirs. There were a few men shaking them and they didn't look particularly faggy. Both were with dates and were probably P-whipped.

But the kids loved them. The young girls were shaking the hell out of them and the young boys all wore them under their caps with the tassles hanging out the back like yellow fright wigs.
