    Riverside, Fontana, Bakersfield, Modesto, Oxnard. Percent of population that is Hispanic or Latino: 49, 66, 46, 35, and 73 respectively. Heavily Catholic populations and they don't like gays. But they do luv them some Hillary and free shit.

    To point one, I think it would take a constitutional amendment to disconnect the number of the EC from the number in Congress. On point two, technically that is possible, but we're talking major collusion to get that many EC delegates to vote against the will of their districts.

    So now you want to do away with the bicameral legislature as well? Granted, the makeup of Congress has its roots in English Parliament, with the Senate as the House of Lords and the House as the House of Commons. But I believe the idea of one chamber where the makeup is based on population and the other where all states have an equal voice makes sense.
