1. For the 1st 2 X games, starters usually get a quarter, 2 in the 3rd and 3 in the 4th. So, it's the equivalent of less than 2 games of actual PT. The rest is spent looking at the newbies to see what they can do.
  2. But it's a matter of probability and intensity. The more contact situations, the greater the chances of getting injured. The more intense (ie exhibition game).
  3. Gotta revisit this one.

    EXHIBITION FOOTBALL SUCKS. :cuss:

And this is one of the things that sucks about it. :dis:
  4. The primary purpose of exhibition games is to help the coaching staff decide who to cut and who to keep. From a purely practical point-of-view, it does not make any sense to put starters into an exhibition game.
  5. i'll be drinking doam foam tomorrow night. i hate the preseason but at least it's football.

anyone else going to the game?
  6. do you have a hunch that someone will get hurt that you pulled up this thread? lol
  7. Didn't he get his shoulder hurt last season when again someone intercepted a pass and he attempted to make a tackle on the player?

    If so, that's unreal.

  8. i didn't pull up this thread, the guy before me did.

    oh and izzle :nope:
  9. my bad, bro. i didn't realize that. :)
  10. Since we're mentioning the skins, any update on Landry's play in the preseason?
