From another board - Radakovich began talks in March with Oklahoma about playing the Sooners in Tiger Stadium in one season and in Norman, Okla., in another. He said the talks are progressing. "I've got an Oklahoma contract on my desk," he said. "There are a couple of legal issues we're looking at, so we're not ready to make an announcement, but we're moving in that direction right now. Joe Castiglione (Oklahoma's athletic director) and I are in correspondence on this matter." http://www.2theadvocate.com/stories/011505/spo_lsufoot001.shtml
There's a lot of good stuff in this article outside of OU-LSU, so I'll post it in full: I believe the emphasis on "lower level" and the way he talked up N. Texas makes a rumored So. Miss game unlikely. I was also wondering who the "team that got away" was that LSU talked to in December.
what's he mean by geographical considerations? what do we care how far they have to come? its not like its a home and home. my guess is that he must be talking about exposure for recruiting. but what do i know
