True, but I have a feeling the ship will sink for those that say there are or were no WMD's in Iraq just like there were no terrorist training camps there. Its a stand I wouldn't want to take.:hihi:
No, but none of them claim to be. I watch a lot of news programs while at work. The people on the right seem to be too pro fox and too anti cnn. It's af if the right feels fox can do oe say no wrong.
I mainly watch Fox news when I watch the news. I am obviously on the right however they cover a lot of things that CNN and others just don't cover. One example, UN oil for food. Nobody who is against the war in Iraq or against the right will admit the problems at the UN because that would mean we were justified into going into Iraq. I'm not saying Fox is perfect but there is no doubt that they cover stories that the other networks won't touch. I could be wrong but when I watch other networks I don't see some of these things covered, ever.
Good question . . . and the answer is probably not, BBC may be close. I think an individual has to watch several broadly divergent networks himself in order to arrive at what is fair and he must balance what he hears against the others. I consider FOXNews and MSNBC for a right spin, I consider NPR and CBS for a left spin, and I consider CNN, BBC, and ABC who wobble about the middle.
I get ost of my news from NPR because I find they produce the most context for their stories. My only complaint is that they cover more left of center topics. I follow the mainstream networks and also get my rightwing kick from Fox. I also read the Economist which is pretty damned good.
Yeah, you could just say that Fox is the balance. Although, they do seem to be a little bit more overt and militant about their bias than left-leaning outlets.
geez, you could so easily reverse that quote....in fact, i think people on the left are way more anit-fox than righties are anti-cnn.
