    Welter got abused. But I liked Corey Thompson's effort.

    Safety was a need last year, more than covered this year, the backups could start for many colleges.

    That's disappointing. I wasn't impressed by Welter last year but I had heard a few good things about him lately.

    Welter stood his man up but fell down, Thompson just got dragged away. Fournette was way too quick for Voorhees who was only able to hit him and he was gone. Poor Jalen Collins simply got his ass run over. The running backs look strong.

    I noticed that the veteran Backs/Jennings took a more direct approach. The others to include LF went wide and were thus pushed out of bounds...

    Welter had good initial contact, but didn't follow through.

    I don't think Collins expected Jennings to run right at him...... LOL

    We didn't see Kwon though. Would have been nice to see his technique.

    I guess knowing the right calls to make don't really help in drills.
