anyone of you who were stupid enough to believe that bunch formation crap was jimbo fisher's should note they are still running this crap at practice. this is les miles' crapola from that big 10 mentality. clair, please tell me crowton will talk les out of this mindset before the season begins. i seriously do not want to see it ever again. the punting formation is much ado about nothing yet this thing bothers me.
If I'm not mistaken the formation was put in because our long snapper wasn't good at blocking. This formation allowed him to concentrate on the snap without having to come up to block. I know we picked up a pretty good long snapper in this last class. Is he the only other option?
i think the punt formation will work itself out. its this damn stack-i, bunch whatever the hell its called i hate. too much speed/talent to be limiting yourself offensively.
Oh ok. From what I heard, GC likes the spread. Hopefully Les hasn't wasted LSU money and lets him loose.
so far, and that is a big SO FAR, but so far, Crowton is in complete control of the offense. BUT. at this time last season so was Jimbo.
