not the middle of the season... he would do it in the middle of the game.

as soon as jimbo's gameplan failed a little he would take over.

he likes crowton a lot more.

i talked to the players and Les 1-1 for about 2 hrs today. i will talk more later when I have some time. :)

i am sorry i took so long.

i talked to les miles and 15-20 of the players yest for geez.. roughly 3-4 hrs.

and this is what we have so far.

    A. Jarrett Lee is 2nd string and no one on the team likes that, or thinks that will hold up by Week 1.

    B. There is a rumble that Alley Broussard may transfer to Alabama to play this season, but I think that is just hear-say.

    C. LSU will run quite a bit of option this season with Flynn. So far in practice, it works real well, too.

    D. Terrance Toliver is going to be one of the best WRs to ever play at LSU.

    E. Barksdale is a better O-lineman than D-Lineman, and he might start by year's end.

    F. D. Byrd has been a disappointment so far and is behind Toliver and RJ Jackson on the WR depth chart.

    G. Pelini thinks this defense is the best in NCAA history. (and he isn't kidding).

    H. Al Jones will start at safety, probably, if he doesn't sign by that deadline.

    I. The starting 4 on the defensive line is sick. Pelini told me that the backup 4 would be a top-10 unit if they could stand alone.

    J. Hester will be more of a FB this year and less of a RB.

    K. Kirston Pittman is looking great after 2 straight injuries to ruin his season. the defense is sort of dedicating everything to him this season.

    L. Holliday is going to get the ball 8-10 times a game in various packages and various plays.

Oh hell yea, that's why we pay you the big bucks Clair. Great update. Much appreciated.

I have a hard time reading stuff like this and not getting thoroughly jacked up.

Broussard couldn't play at Bama this year if he wanted to, unless I'm hugely mistaken.

of course i meant Chad Jones, and the alley thing is hearsay, so take it for what you will. :)

as far as RJ goes, he is fighting to be #4 with a few others.

Yeah...I don't see anyway Alley could play for another D-I school. Even with a waver he would still have to sit a year and that would be his last year of eligibility. He already used his redshirt. I'm not knocking your info cgisclair, just trying to figure this out. Are there any loop holes I'm missing? I remember a rule where a 5th year senior could transfer without sitting out a year but I thought they had to have already finished their undergrad.
