As much as I hate bama, I laughed uncontrollably when they picked that stupid thing off. They showed Saban on the sidelines emulating the jump pass feverishly when he saw the formation. Meyer got owned.

Also, Brantley is in the bottom 3rd of the SEC in passing. Kid's nowhere nearly as good as advertised. And ours isn't the defense that will improve his stats. I say he chucks for a little over 100, while Lee eclipses 200.

5 for 10 for 35 yards 0 interceptions and 0 touchdowns for JJ

8 for 19 for 47 yards 1 interception and 0 touchdowns for JL

Florida will pressure the hell out of Lee and force him into making bad throws and an interception. JJ will be his usual self. LSU’s defense will play great again and hold Florida to its lowest yardage total so for this season.

Final score Florida 17 and LSU 10.

    Pretty solid prediction.

    I'll play.

    LSU:

Jarrett Lee 12/19 193 yards 1 TD 1 INT sacked once
Jordan Jefferson 2/6 27 yards 0 TD 1 INT sacked twice, 5 carries, 13 yards (sacks hurt)

    Florida

John Brantley 6/14 102 yards 1 TD 1 INT sacked three times, knocked out late 2Q
Trey Burton 4/11 79 yards 0 TD 2 INT sacked twice (one pick six) 9 carries, 41 yards

LSU wins 23-17 One Patrick Peterson pick 6 off a dumb pass by Burton under pressure in the 2nd half, a Ridley rushing touchdown that caps off a decent drive engineered by Jarrett Lee, and three Josh Jasper field goals (one off a short field thanks to another Gator turnover) are how we score. Gators get a juicy turnover from JJ early but can only get a field goal, and JJ gets put to the bench for the rest of the game. Brantley leads a touchdown drive but is cruelly driven into the turf by Shepard delivering a TD strike and his day is done before halftime. We mostly contain Burton, he is forced to throw to beat us, and can't do it.

Tigers move to 6-0. Florida is done. South Carolina (HUH?!?!?) tightens it's control of the East on the way to their first SEC Title Game.

Yep. Jumping up and down like a maniac, doing a throwing motion with his harm. Didn't realize his short ass could jump that high.

I can go with your projection. The difference will be special team play.
