Time to move on. The new 72 minute rule I have instituted is in effect. A&M 70, LSU 49 Mettenberger will have an epic day throwing for 500 yards and 6 TDs. A&M never punts. Obviously. 10 consecutive drives resulting in 10 touchdowns. No this is not a joke.
Manziel wins the Heisman again. At least he should. Lsu checks out. This game meant everything but they lost. Aggies have revenge come in amped. Aggies 47-34 Memories of Curley Hallman resurface when teams quit. This team may quit.
I've been doing my Heisman threads, as you know. But thinking about it more and more, Manziel is far and away still the best college football player in America. And if that's the reason they give the award out, then he should get it a 2nd time. But he won't. Because that would be a slap in the face that he got away with all the offseason bullshit and came back and won it again. The voters won't allow that to happen. The award will not be disparaged. They will give it to squeaky clean Famous Jameis. Which I won't have an issue with, if that team goes 13-0.
I knew I could influence you especially with my sound reasoning. I had to break through your hate and bias first. Which I did sooner than I thought.
It makes me sort of glad that my 7th grader will have a seemingly endless band concert during that game (there are THREE 7th/8th grade bands at her school because 400 kids are in the band, along with two other middle schools' bands, their future high school's bands, and two bands from the senior high school.) Had we won, I'd be pissed. As it is, I'm going to sit back and enjoy the 265 numbers being played (and hope Manziel isn't scoring that many points on us.)
