If you're damn fool enough to run your qb 20 times , you better have a good back-up. There would be no way I would play for a team that would want to use me as a read option running qb if I were a highschool qb and had a choice. If you think you are good enough to play in the NFL, why would you want to risk your career on running the ball so much? I can see running for a first down and sliding. Even drew breeze and Payton manning do that. A coach that will run a qb over and over and over head on into an sec defense has absolutely no care at all about this young mans future NFL dreams. He only cares about winning that game. That's my take on it.
Yeah, I mean running an option play here and there is one thing but contstantly running them will get the vast majority of QBs hurt in SEC play. As far as Chris Relfs future NFL prospects I don't think he's on Kiper's big board top 5.
