LSU IS IN THAT NUMBER ... Fourth behind Clemson Bama & GA ... https://www.google.com/amp/s/247spo...ex-Georgia-Ohio-State-Michigan-134545127/Amp/ LSU at number 4 makes sense. We are right there in recruiting these past years with lotsa senior leadership this yr We’ll go undefeated into Bama and then the fun starts ... Burrow humming in the game Saturday with Brennan outgunning him ... Two QB Platoon system will get LSU thru a tough November ... Weeks until LSU is ranked #4 Ramah say Week #6 Win gets LSU at #3
Revising my pick ... I think we get there after week 2/3 and a good Texas best down At least 1 poll likely Coaches puts us at #4
Where do you see one of the higher ranked teams stumbling? It would take a combination of both for LSU in my view.
Didn’t think we’d be 6 in both polls ... Two impressive wins puts us behind BIG 3! Need only 132 pts in AP poll to catch OK and we’ll pass Ohio State for sure ... Check out the Sooner cupcake schedule https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/teams/OKLA/oklahoma-sooners/schedule/
But the early polls don't even take into account the Sooners cupcake schedule. I think tOSU is going to be less than great this year, so I agree we'll pass them. But as long as OU thumps their shitty competition, we won't pass them unless we're both undefeated come CFP poll time.
If LSU beats Texas, then Texas beats Oklahoma, it's going to be interesting how it shakes out again. We could see a Texas vs Oklahoma Big 12 title winner in Texas, a team with a loss to LSU. LSU, sitting with only one SEC loss. One team from the ACC, the SEC, and the B1G is undefeated. Texas and LSU have one loss, Texas as Big 12 champ. Where does the committee go?
Schedule and eye test. Just like Herbie tells em too. If bammer can miss the show in Atlanta and get in, anyone can should that be the only outlier, right?
That's the kicker right there. LSU will have played five ranked teams as it currently stands. Texas, even with its Big12 title, will have played one. Oklahoma.
