What's your take on the high number and how do you feel about them, in general?

Without knowing specifics, it's easy to see the system is fucked up and the poor guy does not get the same treatment as the guy with money- beginning with defense on up through sentencing. For that, I'm okay with letting some long-timers walk early.

Chelsea Manning’s, today, is a controversial one. I thought ol Chelsea was a sheila.

How bout this one. Alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, ... Officials confirmed that the letter arrived at the White House to CBS News. This cat's at G Bay. Knowing the Prez's feelings about G Bay and his penchant for pardons, surely he won't go there.

I find it odd that he would think the Prez cares about this; or maybe he does.

As far back as I can remember, which isn't saying much, every President has done it. To the best of my knowledge no one accused of terrorism has ever received a pardon or had their sentence commuted.

It's not the number as they're skewed by a number of factors. I'm glad BO commuted/pardoned many of the druggies. Most were non violent Ganga paddlers.
It's the political pardons over the past few weeks that bother me. Manning is a dead on traitor and the Porto Rican terrorist Lopez he let go are insulting to justice. If he does anything to release Bergdahl he should be charged with treason.
