Number 2 would have to be after Georgia scored that long touchdown in 2003, and instead of being deflated the Tiger faithful got louder.

YES! I get chills thinking about that. That was a time to not only be proud of the team, but as member of the fanbase.

If you look under that statement by contained chaos you can see my proudest moment(along with many others). Last year was a good one.

My proudest moment to be a Tiger fan has nothing to do with a game but ever thing to do with a team. It was how all of our student athletes and students in general pulled together as one team to help all the victims from Hurricane Katrina.:thumb: :usaflagwa :laflagwav LSU!

If i had to pick from a sporting moment my top 3 no particular order would be:

    1. LSU beating #1 UF:geauxtige
    2. Warren Morris's home round to be Miami:tigbas:
    3. LSU over OU for the NC :crystal:

i have several in no particular order

    1. beating tenn in sec championship game after loosing 2 starters
    2. dismantling georgia in sec championship game 2003
    3. beating sooners in NC
    4. warren morris
    5. coming back to beat stanford in 2000.
    6. final four 2006.

it is tough to list my proudest moment. it might have to be beating the sooners. b/c i don't think we were well respected before that game.

Mine would also have to be the way the school, students, athletes, admin, coaches, etc. handled everything last year. From immediately turning the campus into a triage unit to the brotherhood shown in Arizona to the student relief fund, to all of the athletes and other students working so hard to helpl others. Nothing that happened in sports since I've been a fan in the early, early 60's can come close to matching this.

this thread really did bring a tear to my eyes...

I'm proud every time I bring a tiger fan to tiger stadium for their first game and the band comes ou... I've been to tiger stadium so many times and it still gives me chills, but being able to give someone their first tiger stadium experience... and sharing it with them is amazing.

the uga game when the stadium got louder after that long td... I bet those uga fans had never seen anything like that before.

    nat'l championship

the first seccg and the sugar bowl afterwards

    beating uga the second time

the vs number one FLA game

the ot wins vs UT and MSU in the same year...

I can go on and on

You know it is funny you post this. I brought a friend to the National Championship game that WAS a Gator fan. It was his first live LSU experience and he fell in love. He had been to countless Gator games and said that he had never witnessed anything like that. I told him he needed to come to a home game in Tiger Stadium and he still plans on doing that this season actually. He bought his first LSU shirt that day and now I think he may be catching up with me or at least trying. I can't wait to bring him to a home game to let him see that experience.
