Everyone has been waiting for this to happen given Wing was cleared last year and has impressed since being on campus. Now gives us 5 spots left to fill to reach 23 if that is the magic number. 4 spots if Fordham signs in this class but we could use greyshirts.
Most punters are given 3 stars but he is one of the best punters in the nation. Chris Sailor has him rated as the #1 JC punter this year or did at one point. Would have been a great find if we had the room for him.
I'm thinkin' this is not so bad. We got some other positions of greater need we can use that slot for. Get another punter next year.
