Purge or not to purge

    I agree. I think everyone has their own rituals or traditions when it comes to cooking crawfish. Some involve salt, others butter. As long as the tails make my lips burn and open my sinsus I really don't care what went into making them.

    Boil went great and Crawfish were a good size. I did no salt in purging and they turned out great and I only found two dead in the whole sack. Thanks for the input guys.

    shoulda added salt. they woulda been easier to peel.

    I did salt in the boil but not to purge, and I had no problems with peeling them.
