Just finally saw some of the game coverage where the purple and gold sections of the PMAC were very clear. Wow, that was VERY nice and had to look great for all of you watching at home. If anyone is able to get some pictures, still shots from their dvr, etc etc then please post some here!

Seeing that in the arena in alternating purple and gold while there I thought "This is different, this is something that sets a LSU crowd apart from the other college basketball teams' crowds."

Great idea by whomever at LSU came up with it!

I took some pictures, but you'll have to wait until this evening if you want to see. :thumb:

So they gave out the shirts at the game or something?

Best color coordinating idea yet. Would never work in Tiger Stadium, but it sure would be awesome to see it there.

It looked good on TV, but would have a looked MUCH better w/ these two things:

    1) If ESPN would broadcast it in full HD since it was on their HD channel!

    2) If maybe one or two fans could stand up at pivotal times of the game.

I can assure you that the fans at last night's game stood up more than any other game this year

I suspect it was the camera angle (LSU going to the right, Bama to the left) which didn't capture much of the standing. It was weird at times on TV, b/c you could hear the crowd getting louder, but the visible fans were remaining seated!

Problem with the PMAC is the student section sits on the same side the cameras are positioned. Would be MUCH better if the cameras panned out toward the student section, like they do at Duke.

I actually made it down near the bottom this time. Is that where you normally are? I've gotta say it's much better down there than in the upper-middle section! Though, apparently, most of the student section was standing and cheering for this one! :thumb:
