I was born and raised in Monroe. I keep track of how Grambling, NLU and LaTech are doing in all their sports. I pull for them to do well because I know people who play, coach, etc. for them. At no point in time have I ever cheered for them when they play LSU at any sport on any level.
WHY? Virtually EVERY family member that I have (and both my parents came from large families) is an :lsup: fan. My parents were at most of the home games in the '58 NC football season. At that time, my mom was pregnant with my little brother, who my parents named Mike (of course). I grew up in BR and started attending :lsup: sporting events @ 7 years old. Spent summers roaming the campus as a kid. I have been to LSU! football, basketball, baseball games. Also track meets and gymnastic meets. I went to school @ LSU!
