Hey Tiger Fans! I'm making the trip down I-10 this weekend to catch the baseball series at the Box, and have a question about kegs in Baton Rouge.

I really enjoyed the games we played there last year, and hope we can get all 3 games in this year instead of only 2!

Anyways, on with the question - this year the crew I'm coming with is planning on getting a keg for the weekend and I was wondering if anyone could give me the names of some places around town that sell kegs. Thanks in advance, and see ya next weekend! I've already called the Catering Kegs place, but the guy there sounded kinda shady...any help on some other places would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    GO COOGS!

We use Catering Kegs for all our tailgates and haven't had any trouble. Northgate on Nicholson is also a possibility for you. Its just outside the North gates of campus on the riverside of Nicholson. Its another hole in the wall, but the beer is cold and adequately priced.

Depends on what kind you're looking for: Bud, Coors, Abita, ...?
Let me know and I'll help.

Bud Light, Miller Light, or Shiner Bock if available. Thanks!

Catering Kegs is cool, but I've had problems there before. I'm a big fan of Cory's in Tigerland off Nicholson. Its close to the stadium (I can give you directions if you need) and they have all of those (even Shiner) plus they really do help you out. Good prices too. Word to the wise: they'll try to sell you anything short of the kitchen sink. Just get what you need.
