Question about the SEC's 5-1-2 scheduling

    there are pages upon pages of reasons on why we have and shouldnt follow the big 12's lead.

    If you were to ask a Nebraska or OU fan about it you would regret it (as in an hour long conversation). That rule (3 rotating from the opposite division) is the big area of concern/disagreement with the way the Big 12 system is set up.


    I would be willing to bet it is a subject of discussion in practically every coaches meeting/conference meeting.

    I agree that the SEC got this right. They really balanced it out with the permanent opponents pretty fairly matched.

    I like that they took rivalries into consideration as well. Auburn/UGA is the south's oldest rivalry. BAMA / UT hate each other. Us vs Florida was the next most lucritive matchup. Then the bottom 3 from each division grabs a cellar dweller from the other.:thumb:
