patrick chung and scott fujita exhibit cleverness at the linebacker position. not very athletic or smart, but they work hard and find a way with cleverness

I can buy it I just think it may take another 100 years to have enough evidence.

I never recall Yao Ming being called clever with his game however.

fujita is a half breed so ihe is part smart, part clever. kyle orton looks kinda asian so he is slightly clever, but not enough to be good. asians cant QB

correction, fujita is adopted so he isnt clever

patrick chung is half black i think, so he is sort of athletic

I'm trying to be politically correct and not laugh at Martin's train of thought. I'm failing badly.

Some of the local guys in Houston were talking recently about JJ Watt and how he's often referred to as having "a motor" and being relentless on the field. The truth is that he's a freakish athlete with immense strength and an obscene vertical leap.

This popped in my head. Are only white basketball players called soft. Unless the black one is educated like grant hill and went to duke or a euro.

    Intelligence equals soft

    Hood equals hard.

Euro equals all thats bad except an outside shot. Like whitey.

Basically the closer you are to a prisoner the better basketball player. Tatts included.

Chris Paul isn't called soft and he's smart. Maybe he's an exception.

bad analogy, any euro league players play a different style of basketball that includes a lot of flopping and aversion to most contact, thats why they are called soft, see Gasol and Ginobuli for examples.

Not really. I know that they play that way which stereotypes them so it fits. All are basically called soft correct? Stereotypes are often true to a degree but unfair to some.
