Okay, the thread title sparked my interest and started reading and thought his question was a little odd but I can understand asking it as he has never been down here. I'm good.

Didn't understand why he would think someone would piss in a gumbo.

SF was very welcoming with his post and gave some good advice for Petey.

After reading this one I knew our SC poster was looking for trouble.

He found it. I hit the floor I was laughing so hard. I'm still laughing as I am trying to type this post. I am crying. If there is a Hall of Fame for post's, Saban Fan's should be there. This is priceless.

LSU fans love to talk about 2003. Why would we not want to discuss the year that SC didn't win the National Championship? After weeks of the media talking about the inevitable Sugar Bowl matchup of OU and SC and then to see SC get left out in the cold. That's just brutal. Even with your coach's attempts to put a positive spin on the outcome after everyone's Sugar Bowl plans were ruined by declaring the Rose Bowl the team's true goal that year, we all know that the late cancellation your New Orleans trip is still a bitter pill to swallow, even to this day.

You might even get a little sympathy with your jambalaya...

    1. for the most part lsu has great tailgaters that welcome anyone. (our tailgate does). but there are bad apples everywhere, and unfortunately, even we have a few of those.

    2. if you are like ou fans and cant take the simple taunt of "tiger bait" then you are in for a bad time. if you laugh it off you will have more food and drink than you can handle.

    3. we would never piss in gumbo. we dont waste good food and alcohol. that is a mortal sin.

    4. re the 03 nc. i suggest you listen to a replay of kincaids espn radio show from yesterday morning. that pretty much says it all.

is usc a in a bcs conference, part of the bcs system? yes? then your AP trophy is meaningless. you should melt it into scrap metal.

not sure why you think it matters how things were done before. do you just adopt whatever rule you think makes you feel like a winner? maybe you should just decide that usc is great and give yourself a trophy every year. maybe you should just decide you are undefeated right now and go around saying that.

Alright from this day forward. i will never bring up 2003! it is simply pointless for us to debate.

Now you've got it. LSU fans are very defensive on this topic and rightfully so.

ESPN has that covered. All kinds of excuses as to why they got whipped by oregon. lost coaches, lost 8 players to nfl. they are the only team that lost players to the nfl, i guess.

Yeah, this is the same team that Pete Carroll was arguing got a raw deal by the computers and should have more points as in we are a great team, of course that was before the beat down. TRANSLATION: We are great until we get exposed and then we have excuses and media puppets who are willing pull the strings for us. USC, the best two loss team in the nation! HIP HIP HOORAY!!! The annual USC spin by the media is sickening. Why does the concept that Pete Carroll DID NOT have his team ready to play escape them? Lost talent to the NFL? Go to Rivals and see what they've recruited over the last several years. Probably more 5 stars than any other school. Its coaching, the USC coaches fail miserably every year given all the talent they recruit. WRITE IT DOWN!

    For example:

    Oregon:
    2006 1 4Star 0 5Star
    2007 12 4Star 0 5Star
    2008 8 4Star 0 5Star
    2009 4 4Star 0 5Star

    USC:
    2006 14 4Star 4 5Star
    2007 10 4Star 6 5Star
    2008 13 4Star 2 5Star
    2009 11 4Star 4 5Star

So USC recruited 48 4Star and 18 5 Star athletes over the last four years and Oregon recruited 25 4 Star and 0 5 Star but USC got beat down because they lost talent. Wow. Thats all very logical.
