I'd say people interested in recruiting might consider it and simply look at it as the price for information. Phelon Jones and Sidell Corley came in from Bama last year as did Jamarcus a few years ago. So far this year, LSU is still looking at Julio Jones, Antoine McClain, and Glenn Harbin. Besides, every recruit from Bama is one taken from Saban.
Some people just might would enjoy something like that, don't matter if it was for a bammer high school or not, it is to help kids. I would help kids no matter what school they were from.
You may find that many of us don't like Arnsparger very much. That tends to happen when your outgoing coach steers your school away from freaking STEVE SPURRIER and towards Mike Archer....THEN GOES TO FLORIDA AND HIRES SPURRIER. Good luck with the fundraiser though.

I saw Arnsparger a few years ago at an athletic director and coaches seminar give an hour long speech on defense. He was a REALLY good speaker and the entire room enjoyed listening to him. I wouldn't pay to hear him and was only there because of work but he will probably put on a great show for your event.
