I'm not a big fan of rats unless the situation is jeopardizing life or limb.

My assumption of the incident that it was a drug test and they probably thought they could do the stuff and come out clean. I don't have an issue with random testing...I get pulled for one every now and again at work.

In the real world, many jobs have random testing. No problems, people should get use to it.

The hair test trailer will be parked at the plant during the weeks after Christmas and new years. I had to attend the contractors supervisor's turn around meeting where they made the announcements that every contractor must be ready to submit any worker that hasn't been tested in the last six months.

The world has changed from when I first started working in plants. You used to take one yearly piss test where now the hair test is all the rave.

Young men need to understand that when they get in the real world, many jobs require drug testing. In their way of thinking there is no such thing as innocent recreational use. A person with a tiny amount, one joint two or three months ago, of pot is just the same as shooting herion every day. Weather it is fair or not it's the way it is.

Lots of people will be looking for a new job in the next few weeks. You don't get a one game suspension in the real world, your family loses it's cable tv, they come get your truck, someone changes the locks on your house and your kid goes hungry. Your wife has enough of your chit and you are left alone and jobless.
Kids must understand this. These people don't play.

This incident didn't sound like a random to me. Sounded like a rat may have been involved. Strange how they decided to burn one in the middle of the year. Perhaps rumors were swirling and maybe the coach stepped in with a test b4 it got out of hand and the players started smoking the whole team out. In most cases they won't test you unless you do something silly like break equipment or wreck a truck. I was hoping someone knew more.

At this point...who gives a sh*t?!?! I mean, seriously, rat...no rat.... WHO CARES?!?!?!

    Regular season is over.

    Conference title games are played.

Finals are done and everyone passed.

    BCSCG practice has begun.

Yet...here you are, trying to "clear the air" about a rat over substance abuse for something that happened 2 months ago?!?!?

The fact that you're suggesting that IF they were "ratted out" by someone on the team, that that rat be disposed of shows your true class and values, Fang. :dis:

We don't know if the whole team had to piss test.
    You never will know.
What if they were late getting in one night and everyone who is tardy pisses.
What if it was randomly picked players every month.
What if the entire athletic dept has a few random players piss every month.
What if everyone pisses every month.

We will never know how it works. We shouldn't start rumors of someone ratting out players in the lockerroom. Some stupid arse reporter could read this and next thing you know it's being reported on espn.

Why pull something out your arse and start a rumor about it on a forum where thousands, some from outside media sources, will read it and presume you know what the phuck you're talking about? They don't know that you really are a regular fan and not on the inside. They don't know that you are making chit up and not connected with inside info. They don't know you're just a damn fool nobody stirring up chit that you know nothing about. They don't realize that youre fang.

Calm down, breath ok. No ones starting rumors. Put the knife down Brooks Hatlen. I asked for inside info if you don't have any then do the letters FO mean anything to you?

Indeed, the plants are like that for good reason . . . keeping insurance costs low. However the testing is not cheap and most jobs only drug test you if you screw something up on the job, like cause an accident or indulge in bizarre behavior.
