Davis had the best hands of all the excellent LSU receivers. He has a way of getting open and never seems to lose concentration when someone is in his face. Keenly aware of where he is on the field and where he needs to go. Good at run after catch. Class act all the way. Just goes out and performs well every down...as has been said. You won't be dissappointed. Good luck on the upcoming (not soon enough) season.:thumb:
Thanks for the responses and the welcome! It was very informative and makes me extremely happy Craig's a Charger. He definitely flew under the radar for a lot of us because of Bowe's gaudier stats, but from what I can tell, a lot of Chargers fans are growing on him really quickly. Hopefully, the Bolts can pick up a Tiger each year ---I wouldn't mind seeing lots of LSU players graduating to the NFL with bolts on their sleeves. Good luck next year as well! :geauxtige -Chris
Pretty much what these guys said with an emphasis on YAC. Plus he is humble, which is rare for a receiver in the NFL.:thumb:
I have to echo what everyone else said. He was "Mr. Clutch." It didn't matter where a ball was thrown, he'd go after it. How many passes did he catch over his time here that were practically in the dirt when he caught them?
Here's a chat log from chargers.com with Buster. http://www.chargers.com/news/headlines/charger-chat-with.htm
That was a good interview. http://www.chargers.com/news/headlin...-chat-with.htm Show's some of his humility. And he's scared of sharks? Who isn't.
With Rivers and Gates already in place, I am excited to see how Norv develops Craig. I think it is going to work our real well.
here's a highlight video I found on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GA_8YV6Nnn8 I'd have to say the Bolts got an excellent pick! :geauxtige
Bah...you beat me to it. Great minds? :geauxtige I got sidetracked watching it before I posted.
