The day after the Sugar Bowl, I went buy the Baton Rouge Advocate so I could frame the front page. I was looking on the internet and I seen the front page was Saban Holding up the Crystal Ball, my picture is Marcus Spears high fiving Justin Vincent. Both pages have VICTORY FOR LSU at the top. Does anyone know why?
The advocate printed 2 different front pages for that morning. My friend in B.R. called them all pissed the next day and asked why the one delivered in his yard was not the same as the ones he had seen. They sold one kind in N.O. and the other elsewhere is the way they explained it to him. He bitched enough and they sent him the N.O. edition.
