speaking of past players....what was the reason Damien James left the team in 02(Ithink)? He was the best safety and could've easily played at the next level. I noticed Ryan Clark starting for the Steelers, I think. If he could start, no reason Damien wouldn't have and actually excelled.
We may never know the answer to that question. It has been alleged that DJ didn't study hard enough and couldn't or didn't pass a certain test or refused to take said test all together.
He had a medical job at OLOL hospital in Baton Rouge about 2 or 3 years ago, I think he was an x-ray tech.
I know where Herb Tyler is going to be Saturday night, TIGER STADIUM !!!!! He and Jeff Wickersham have been selected guest captains for the game. How ironic is that ?
