Spread offense: I've met French people, and they are like anybody else. Anyone who cooks that good and loves rugby (and their rugby is more Wehrmach than it is Maginot Line) is fine in my book. Don't like their govt, but so what, I hate talking politics anyway. This country has made a ton of contributions to this world, so it's not like they've done nothing for us. Plus, their women, down to their descendents, are my favorites (I love brunettes with light skin). Going the other direction, I just got back from checking out a med school in WV. Met a guy who went to UTenn, and we got along well. He and I agreed that it is amazing that we were speaking to each other. Well, I suppose we are not all perfect and we must be patient with the shortcomings of others. BTW, WVU is the team I am absolutely having an affair with. And yes I cheered for them during the Sugar Bowl. I normally stick with my conference, but not this time. And I heard they may come our way to the SEC!
I never route for my rivals. Unless they are playing against Auburn. Under no other circumstance is it acceptable to pull for a rival of any kind in any sport.
Lol, no kidding. I try to pull for the SEC in bowls or other postseason events, but I just can't. I mean, I guess I can if it's a team that's usually no threat to us in the respective sport. But I have great difficulty pulling against a team all year long and then suddenly being on their side. I understand the logic that it makes us look better, but we're not talking about rationale here, only emotion.
