Who cares. The guy thinks he is the best and how that is strange I'm not sure. If it shows confidence and he thinks that helps his chances in the draft and gets him $$$, good for him..I'd do the same.

This is different than Leinhart's thing. Leinhart got beat and sounded like a sore loser.

The draft hasn't happened yet so Quinn is just professing what he believes in. Who gives a ****.

This has almost become a fairytale for me. See folks, I'm one of those ND haters. I could write you an essay as to why, and believe me, my reasons are air tight, but I'll leave it at that. If JR takes the #1 pick it will be like spitting on ND's carcass after what happened in the Sugar Bowl. It really doesn't get any better, we are now responsible for two of their losses in their historic bowl losing streak (both be complete dominations) and JR is now poised to take Whiny Boy's media hype, draft spot, and essentially a couple million $$$ from Quinn. Ba da ba ba ba... I'm Lovin' It!!!

But, in the NFL, he'll also have a NFL caliber O line protecting him. ND's O Line was horrible all year, especially in terms of pass protection. I can't think of a worse O line that ended up in the top 25. Look at the number of hits BQ took, or the 31 sacks. And, as we saw with his 60 yard run against SC, BQ's not a freaking statue and he can move. But, his O line was just awful.

Sure, BQ struggled at times behind a porous O line, but name one other QB who would excel in a similar situation.

You mean like Oakland? Arizona? Houston? These lines are also terrible. Chances are whoever picks him (if its early) has a bad O-line. Meaning if he struggled against college defenses behind a bad line, he'll really struggle when an NFL defense demolishes his bad O-line

Yeah, but there will also be an NFL defense running after his head, he will also have NFL recievers, but there will be NFL DBs working their way to get to his passes. The meaning: college play is a demonstration to what he'll find in the NFL.

Good points. Matt Leinart had zip for an Oline this year. He's a great pocket passer but a pretty lame runner and yet he did fine........not great, but okay.

BQ will likely end up somewhere with a similar situation and he's going to get a serious wake up call when he realizes the speed/girth coming at him.
