I have never brought a radio into the dome but I can tell you that you will have a hard time picking up 98.1 FM because when I drive to New Orleans 98.1 gets very scratchy reception by the time I get into the city.

I believe the Dome gets good enough reception--Lots of Saints fans have headsets.

But, like Bengal B said, 98.1 might not come in as clear in New Orleans.

I use to get WWL fine in the Dome when I lived there. Guess it depends on where you are sitting as some posts on boards have indicated that some guys couldn't. My seats use to be on the 40 on the home side about 25 rows up.

No chance of 98.1, 870 is fine though.
