I am still convinced that the Raiders will take CJ, because, as somebody already stated Al Davis is calling the shots. Since Davis loves "measurables" he undoubtedly loves the 6'5" reciever with great speed, hands, and attitutde (and frankly rightfully so). The thing is as bad as the Raiders were, I do tend to believe it was alot coaching especially with the lousy blocking schemes the OL coach (gone) implemented and the lame playcalling by the O-coordinator (gone). So Id be willing to bet that with good coaching, and Im not sure if Kiffen is that yet, the Raiders could be decent.

Ofcourse regardless I still dont want to see Russell go there, in spite of the fact that he would be the # 1 pick. I just dont like the Raiders, but thats just me.

I disagree, I think the Raiders actually have a good defense going for them and they only have to fix their offense. Davis is the biggest concern for most of us it seems, at some point he is going to have to give up some of his control.

The Radiers defense looked good last year because teams didn't want to risk throwing on them because their defense was more likely to return an interception for a TD than their offense was to score one.

If their offense was any worse teams would have started kneeling the ball three times and punting after scoring once.

I tend to disagree about their defense, but that last part is great, probably because its pretty close to the truth :D .

What I meant was they are not a decent franchise, they maybe a better "team" than some, but that franchise needs some serious reparations, more than any other NFL franchise. They got management problems, they got players disciplinary problems, etc.. How pathetic could a team be when a college offensive coordinator turns a HEAD COACH offer?
But I would still cheer for them if they get JaMarcus.

The D is very underrated, especially that one cornerback i can't remember his name. And the offense....you probably mean "fix" as in completely rebuild. Like as in a new offensive line, QB, and RB. It's not that simple to fix or else they would be good by now.
