It should have been a bit more serious then that. Had you or I done this, it would have been labeled as burglary at the least, and possibly aggravated burglary, which is a felony. He was very fortunate to get off like he did.

i dont know the details of this case, but just because its a misdemeanor doesnt mean its no big deal. misdemeanors can easily get you jail time.
