If randall is good enough to run a 2 qb system why just start this year, why not 2 years ago when mauck got hurt. Why now. I am not disagreeing with saban, but I have never seen the 2 qb or 2 rb system work ANYWHERE. the offense is not able to get use to the timing. And can't nobody say that Russell and Randall have the same style of play, cause that is just a bold face lie.

If we keep this 2 qb system up it while bite us in the ass sooner or later, and thats history talking not me.

The funny thing about this is that right now the Auburn coaches are having this same argument sp? If you ask me Saban has a one up on them for this simple fact.

The "CNS" thing is just silly....you should really consider dropping that. It's not even close to being clever.

And you must not watch much football. 2 QB systems don't work. Just ask Steve Spurrier. He only won 1 national championship in his tenure at Florida, which was under a single QB system. Those last few years he tried using 2 QBs cost his team dearly. And he had teams good enough to win another NC. And then he tried the same thing at Washington and had to quit prematurely.

Go with all the "Randall knows the playbook better" bullcrap you want....it just doesn't cut it. He can know all the plays he wants, but if he has no talent to execute them, then it simply does him no good. Your damn dog can know all the plays, but he won't complete a pass either (sorry but you brought up the thing about your dog, so I thought I would use it again to illustrate my point).

Russell has the swagger you need in a QB who KNOWS he is the shyt. And right now, Russell's mental state of mind is such. Randall wonders if he can chew gum and walk at the same time. That's how much confidence he had after the OSU game.

After Auburn is over and Russell pulls out the victory once again, all this bullcrap will be over and Russell will play 95 percent of the time from here on out and that will be that.

Enjpy your arguments supporting Randall for one more week.

Must be the Texas water we are drinking that allows us to see the truth. Can't say though that it makes me like Texas anymore.

The Visorman point was a good one but I got one better then that. Good ole Charlie Mc did it all those years ago, AND if he wouldn't have just imagine what might have been.

I hate to do this to you KATT, but I feel obliged to correct your extreme evaluation after reading in the Advocate this morning the following quotation which came directly from a player....

"It helped to know both quarterbacks were going to play," Bowe said. "It got me excited because we have two great quarterbacks."

    Davis agreed.

"The coaches had a great game plan for us with both quarterbacks," he said. "Marcus has been here five years and knows the offense. JaMarcus is still learning and getting better. The great thing is the coaches mixed them both in.

"When I'm in, I really don't see a different quarterback. We run the same offense and both guys run the same plays."

That's great....but when they run "the same offense" under Randall against a much tougher Auburn defense, watch the crappy play on Randall's part.

Just get back to me Sunday morning.

Thats one player talking to the media, he isn't gonna bash his team or his coaches. I am going off of HISTORY. You know if you don't learn from the PAST your doomed to repeat it crap. Look it up look at the past 25 years and you find me a program that used a 2 qb system and had it work. College, Pro, hell even high school. If they want to try it great I hope they find a way to make it work, but there are alot of ghost against them.

You know I am just as much a Tiger fan as anybody hell my first game was in the womb. I just wish sometimes some of these people would take a step back and look at the whole picture before opening their mouth.

I'll get back to you, but I wont be back until sunday night...I'll be in Auburn. Look I am not going to get into an arguement with you regarding the level of Randall's potential for success this weekend and for the rest of the season. I respect your evaluation of his abilities, but I hope he does well.

Just do me a favor and don't act like If he does poorly this weekend I have to come back and "get back to you Sunday morning". Its just stupid for me to come back and give you respect for your having foresawn the demise of our 5th year quaterback. Nor will I expect you to come back Sunday morning if he does well and say to anyone that "you were right..he doesnt blow ass". Its like you hope he does poorly so you can say "I told you so."

Its one thing to evaluate the QBs and to argue the question of who is better and who deserves what. But to lower it to the level where you are getting angry at those who are rooting for Randall and to be challenging them to post game sunday morning I-told-you-so's is just kinda immature.

That being said, I know you are not immature...I like most of your posts, you know your ****, and have generally very good input.

If he does poorly, I will think to myself..."yep...he was right about Randall".
But stop making this more than should be between the people on this board.

My comment was not to argue the efficiency of the 2 QB system...I agree with you, it isnt very much so.

I was simply letting you know that you called our stud WRs "bold face" liars. I look at the whole picture before opening my mouth. And let me tell you, its a crazy fuc**ng picture, this QB situation is.
