Hello friends. In this thread I will post random facts, of varying levels of controversy or interest. Som mundane truths, as well as some incredible ideas that run counter to the current mainstream. Fact number one: Al Jazeera is better than any American cable news channel.
Less vulgar and sensationalistic, almost certainly more accurate, and more informative. More long form investigation, less newsporn nonsense.
Hard to say since I can't see al Jazeera here except on the internet, which I rarely do. If AJ was on DirecTV and having to compete directly with CNN and FOX for advertisers and US audiences then I could assess it.
Southern Comfort is a liqueur not bourbon or whiskey. You would be surprised how many people don't know this.
They will show up on more and more services now that they own current tv. In their absence I would watch bbc world service. Fox and CNN and msnbc are so terrible they make me kinda sad.
