some thnigs are better left unalyzed, like the shimmering brilliance that was chappelles show. but the staff at grantland have managed to annoy me with analysis of it.

i know why it is genius, dont tell me, that makes it too clinical.

I didn't read the entire article but had to check out which sketch was picked #1. While it was a decent choice, the Rick James bit has to be my all-time favorite. Having Rick James participate in the sketch (just before he died) brought it to the next level.

That show was so good that I may have to read the entire grantland when I have time. Maybe not to debate the points made, but just to remember all of those classic episodes.
