The terrible band you are talking about is called old crow medicine show and is awful.

I dont keep up with Grammys as they are unwatchable and useless. You are allowed to declare your own time period.

Between the buried and me is also a decent band.

It is "Old Crow Medicine Show" and they are a kick ass band. Yes, Wagon Wheel is one of there better known tunes.
